The client
Kara runs Outward in VA, specialising in operations management with a particular expertise in Everfit — a platform used by fitness and health professionals. She helps her clients streamline their businesses, which means she needs her own operations to be rock-solid.
The challenge
Kara didn’t have a centralised system for her own business. She needed a CRM that could handle client management, project tracking, and the operational backbone of running a service-based business — so she could focus on delivering for her own clients. As someone who works deeply in tech platforms, Kara also tends to push Moxie into custom territory, which means she occasionally runs into quirks and edge cases that need expert troubleshooting.
The system
We built the full Moxie CRM from scratch over four weeks: pipeline stages, automated workflows, client management, proposals, and project tracking, everything Kara needs to run Outward in VA from one system. After the build, Kara stays on for ongoing support. When she does custom things in Moxie and the platform throws a wobble (which it does), she has someone to call who can diagnose and fix it quickly — without having to figure out what went wrong on her own.
